Account Manager (temporary)

Job Purpose
The purpose of this position is to develop sales with top trade partners in Spain, identifying opportunities to generate additional revenue. The account manager has also a key role in supporting the Commercial strategy driving sales to enriched content and lower costs channels.
Main Responsibilities - Tasks
- Responsible for managing a portfolio of trade partners in Spain.
- Represent Vueling products toward travel agencies.
- Negotiate and manage allotments contracts with tour operators.
- Encourage partners to adopt low-cost channels and value the advantages of online channels.
- Analyse data performance and take relevant corrective or stimulating actions to boost sales and generate incremental revenue.
- Feed Revenue management and Network with markets trends data and partners’ feedback.
- Ensure a smooth cooperation with Distribution, Alliances, Marketing and Customer Services.
Main Relationships
The Account Manager will be working closely:
- Internally with the following teams: Sales, Sales support, Distribution, Alliances, Revenue Management, Network, Customer Services.
- Externally with partners: Travel Agencies, tour operators, tourist bureau.
Education
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Economics, Sales or Tourism.
Experience
- Experience of 2 years in airlines or in an agency (proven experience in account management required).
Competencies
- Teamwork qualities.
- Autonomy and agility finding solutions.
- Negotiation and leadership skills.
- Communication and customer service skills.
- Organized and comfortable working in a rapidly changing and demanding environment.
- Solid understanding of airline selling processes.
- Strong interest in the airline industry.
