Job Purpose
Crew planning Standards is part of Crew Planning department, and the main goal of the Crew Planning Standards technician is to ensure that the methodology to be applied to generate the rosters is in accordance with the applicable regulations as depicted in the OM and the with reference to the duty time limitations, rest and flight time for the crews, as well as the company’s CBAs and standards in terms of rostering.
Main Accountabilities
- Guarantees the regulatory compliance concerning crew rostering and establishes coherence throughout the crew rostering process.
- Inter-departmental collaboration for policy change.
- Promote constructive cooperation and ensure that the end-user thoroughly understands the rules and procedures and the grounds for their implementation.
- Planning and managing and closure of Projects related to crew planning – flight and cabin crew.
Main Responsibilities - Tasks
- Creation and management of the documentation to attend to the changes that may arise for the different normative manuals (MO, MPT, etc.).
- Generates and ensures compliance with the procedures that have been internally generated in Vueling following the applicable regulations, internal requirements, or additional dispositions by AESA in terms of crew rostering.
- Work with other departments to ensure transversal communication.
- Monitoring and reporting mandatory KPIs.
- Prepares and executes audits that are performed on the Crew Rostering department.
- Preparation and execution of training plan for crew planning members.
- Defines and guarantees the introduction and follow-up of new regulations on rostering in the corresponding manuals.

Education
- FP2 or CFGS degree, baccalaureate or higher degree.
- AIMS (Airline Information Management System) knowledge or other rostering systems.
Experience
- 2 years’ experience in Crew rostering, Crew Control departments or in operational areas.
- Desirable Change management methods.
Competencies
- Be proactive with the ability to coordinate, plan, prioritize and handle changing priorities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytic profile with attention to details.
