Flight Operations Engineer will be in charge of support to flight operations computations and studies. Main areas of expertise include aircraft performance, weight and balance, operation technical manuals, route studies or flight planning support.
Collaborates in aircraft performance computation, runway data, airports characteristics and contingency procedures, and/or weight and balance computation.
Calculates aircraft weight and balance information according to the company’s flight operations guidelines established by Head of Standards.
Compiles the necessary information for flight plans and computerized load sheets preparation.
Receives the navigation database, check its consistency with the data in the flight plan system and distribute it for its installation in the aircraft FMGC.
Updates aircraft operation technical Manuals (WBM, FCOM, AFM, QRH and MEL) and associated documents (AD, OEB; OIT, FOT, etc.). Keeping the manuals updated according to applicable regulations.
Provides support for the tasks related with the EFB that are developed in the Technical Office.
Aeronautical Engineering Degree.
Not required but valuable.
Flight operations (desired).
High proactivity & “Hands-on”.
Fluency Spanish and English.
Any Airbus flight operations related training.
