 Job Purpose

In Vueling we are looking for a Tactical Planner who, reporting to the Airline Readiness Manager, will be part of Vueling OCC Department.

The successful candidate will be in charge of 24/7 Daily Programme and aircraft routing design of Vueling fleet, taking in consideration all the relevant aspects.

Main Responsibilities - Tasks

-Preparation of the Daily Programme considering all the factors than can affect it (e.g.: weather, aircraft limitations and/or restrictions…)

-To optimize the tail assignment.

- Coordination with Revenue and Scheduling fleet down-granges and up-granges in the short period.

- Coordination with AENA BCN for the stands assignments (First Wave)

- Coordination with MOC for tasks reassignment, re-planning or to change aircraft night stop base for a better performance.

- Coordination with Crew Control to minimize, when possible, crew swaps to optimize the schedule and doing the adjustments needed for crew requirements.

- Coordination with Duty Manger and Operational Manager in case of any disruption affecting D+1.

- Coordination as Focal Point with all the other operational departments to coordinate changes in the programme once the official programme is published.

- Preparation and attendance to meetings in representation of OCC. 

Main Relationships

Internal departments: OCC, Network/Scheduling y Revenue.

Education

- Preferred: Degree in Engineering, Economics, Bachelor or Similar.

Experience 

- A minimum of 2 years in an Operational environment.

- Experience operating successfully in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment

- Advanced knowledge of Office.

- Highly motivated, self-starter with strong business acumen and negotiation skills.

- Superior organizational skills and the ability to follow through.
