Aircraft Structures Engineer
Vueling is looking for a Structures Engineer to join our CAMO Engineering department. You’ll be a subject matter expert in providing structures engineering support for the A320 fleet.

Job Purpose
Vueling is looking for a Structures Engineer to join our CAMO Engineering department. You’ll be a subject matter expert in providing structures engineering support for the A320 fleet.
Main Accountabilities
- Management of Structural issues affecting the fleet.
- Analysis and control of Structural Airworthiness Directives.
- Provide specialist technical support for line / base maintenance activity and AOG recovery to reduce ground time and improve aircraft availability.
- Ensuring accurate analysis and reporting of Structural Damages to guarantee continuous airworthiness.
- Updating of the Damage Map to reduce operational impact.
- Configuration control for structural components to maintain fleet standardisation.
- Analysis, implementation, and monitoring of structural Non-Mandatory Modifications to improve reliability.
- Technical Assessment of all Aircraft Structures related Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) in accordance with the Approved Maintenance Program.
- Drive business improvement initiatives to optimise operational performance and efficiency.
- Assisting with AMOS data migration of ex-factory and second-hand aircrafts.
Main Responsibilities - Tasks
- Control of fleet damages.
- Evaluation of Ads SB MPD and other manufacturer or regulator data.
- Support daily operation.
Main Relationships
- Vueling maintenance department.
- Finance department.
- MRO and mechanics.
Education
- Engineering Degree or Aircraft Maintenance Engineer certification are essential.
Experience
- At least 3 years of previous experience in a Structures engineer role within a CAMO/Part 145 department is desired.
Competencies
- Capable of working in a high-pressured and fast paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Languages
- English: C1
- Spanish: C1
Other
- Experience with AMOS/Engineering is desired.
