 Job Purpose 

• Within the finance structure, provide support to the commercial and network area in daily operations for decision making. Being a Focal Point between Financial processes in the company and the Commercial & Network areas in the execution.

Main Responsibilities - Tasks

• Create and develop business plans to provide insights for strategic decision making in the company.
  
• Provide support to the commercial and network area for decision making that impact the business.
• Monthly analysis of the performance of the company
• Annual and quarterly budget processes
• Budgetary monitoring
• Route profitability analysis and insights
• Operational efficiency and reduction of costs Cross sectional plans
• Support to the business to make tactical and strategic decisions.
• Financial reporting
• Monitoring of the main Company indicators
• Benchmarking Peers

Main Relationships

• Internal Relations: Finance leading managers and all company managers.

• External Relations: IAG Finance

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or ADE/Finance is required.

Experience 

• 2/3 years of experience in a dynamic sector are required
• Experience in strategic leading consulting firm or general consulting (Desirable)
• Previous working experience in aviation/airlines (Desirable)
• Previous working experience in a Management Control team (Desirable)

Competencies 

• Strong data analysis
• Proactive and ability to adapt to different tasks

Languages 

• Strong communication skills and ability to read, write & fluently speak the English language

Other 

• Financial knowledge (P&L, Cash Flows etc)

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required

• Experience operating successfully in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, and have the ability to influence the decisions through effective verbal and written communication, logical reasoning, and the presentation of alternatives
