 Job Purpose

 Reporting to the Head of OEM Supplier Management, responsible for the relationship with critical engine, aircraft and component suppliers, both in terms of supply and maintenance, leading the total cost reduction initiatives. In the suppliers of his scope, coordinate the proactive monitoring of the supplier's compliance with deadlines, conditions, SLAs and warranties, as well as the negotiations for financial compensation for non-compliance with their obligations and develop the relationship with suppliers to contribute to the company's strategic objectives.

Main Accountabilities

• Responsible for identifying and leading the implementation of cost savings initiatives from business critical suppliers (especially in the Engine area).
  Collaborate in the identification of insourcing or outsourcing opportunities that reduce the company's cost base.
  Responsible for defining the negotiation strategy for critical suppliers in the category.
• Advise Operations and Maintenance in understanding the contractual terms and conditions (inclusions, exclusions and pricing) applicable to contracted services.
• Report to the SPM Director on category savings initiatives under his responsibility as well as cost variances, risk assessments, mitigation or continuous improvement plans designed for critical suppliers.
• Present to the CFO, COO and Management Committee the recommendation on contract awards for suppliers under his scope.
  Responsible for coordinating with IAG GBS Procurement the launch of RFPs and tenders for critical suppliers.
• Responsible for coordinating the execution of business cases to defend savings initiatives or the awarding of contracts to certain suppliers.
  Responsible for coordinating the performance of monthly spend analysis of Maintenance accounts that contribute to the identification of savings or efficiency opportunities.
