 Job Purpose

Join Vueling’s Transformation Team to drive strategic initiatives focused on cost optimisation, business performance and operational efficiency.

You will support key transformation projects through data-driven analysis, strategic planning and project execution, working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation to identify opportunities, prioritise initiatives and deliver measurable impact.

Main Accountabilities

• Align transformation efforts with overarching business strategies, enhancing organisational performance and achieving set goals.

• Motivate and guide stakeholders to establish and pursue higher standards and continuous improvement.

• Improve operational efficiency through effective prioritisation, resource allocation, and agile project management.

• Enhance the speed and effectiveness of transformation initiatives, ensuring timely adaptation to risks and strategic opportunities.

• Foster a well-informed organisation where strategic communication is tailored and effective at all levels.

• Provide critical decision-making support with high-quality, relevant content that enhances strategic discussions and executive decisions.

• Foster cross-departmental cooperation and ensure comprehensive support for strategic changes.

• Deliver insightful data analysis and maintain clear communication of business impacts and progress, enhancing transparency and accountability.

• Strengthen stakeholder engagement and manage resources efficiently, ensuring effective communication and optimal utilisation of organisational capabilities.

Main Responsibilities - Tasks

• Drive strategic initiatives focused on cost optimisation, operational efficiency and business performance improvement.

• Analyse business performance and cost drivers, identifying opportunities and supporting data-driven decision making.

• Lead and support transformation projects, ensuring clear prioritisation, structured execution and delivery of measurable results.

• Develop business cases and executive materials to support strategic decisions at leadership level.

• Monitor project impact and KPIs, providing clear visibility on results, risks and opportunities.

• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with teams such as Finance, Operations, IT and Data.

• Apply agile and structured problem-solving approaches to manage complex initiatives and accelerate implementation.

• Ensure effective stakeholder management, aligning teams and maintaining momentum across transformation initiatives.

Main Relationships

All key stakeholders across Vueling and IAG: Transformation Team, Project Sponsors (MC members), Business Leads and other Leadership within Vueling and IAG’s Steering Commitee (holding company).

Education

Bachelor’s degree (Business, Engineering, Economics or similar).

Experience 

• 4–6 years of experience in consulting, strategy, business transformation or performance improvement.

• Strong experience in data analysis, cost optimisation and business performance projects.

• Proven ability to structure problems, develop insights and communicate with senior stakeholders.

• Experience managing complex cross-functional projects.
  
  Nice to have

  • Experience in aviation, operations or network industries.

  • Familiarity with Agile, SAFe or similar strategic frameworks.
