Job Purpose
This role is integral to driving revenue optimization across a portfolio of routes, leveraging market insights, and leading a team of skilled analysts in achieving revenue targets.
Main Accountabilities
- Ensure maximum occupancy and revenue generation by balancing supply and demand through effective price setting.
- Achieve or surpass predefined revenue targets through strategic planning and execution.
- Identify opportunities and threats in the market, enabling strategic decision-making for route optimization.
- Delivers yearly revenue uplift through process and ecosystem efficiencies.
- Extract meaningful insights from data sets, leading to informed decision-making and strategy development.
- Fosters accountability and continuous improvement consistent with company goals.
- Effective revenue management processes, reduced errors, and better overall performance.
- Ensure team competency and consistency in revenue.
- Delivering collaborative project supporting revenue generation.
- Ensures cross functional communication to deliver results.
- Fulfill the mission of the job if it is in the employee´s hand.
Main Responsibilities - Tasks
- Analyses market trends, competitor's pricing strategies, diagnose and alert the team to opportunities and risks considering demand forecast and revenue targets.
- Proactively incorporates and proposes adjustments in the different market strategies to establish and meet revenue targets.
- Monitors the performance of a group of routes, proactively testing and analyzing alternative optimization strategies.
- Leads process improvement and projects based on automation tools, reports and digitalization to sustain revenue initiatives.
- Challenges results and incorporate ideas to improve year-over-year (YoY) results; ensure data driven decisions are taken.
- Supervises and leads a team of revenue management analysts and specialists providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure company objectives are met and set the basis of a high-performance team.
- Train the team in best practices and verify that the actions are implemented and participate actively in team members selection process.
- Organizes and manages the team, promoting their development, teamwork and communication, between their collaborators and the rest of the Company.
- Influences and collaborates on the development of cross- company projects, lead execution and on-time delivery.
- Communicates effectively to management and key stake holders’ diagnosis, results and revenue strategies to drive results.
- Perform any other responsibility or function that is assigned inherent to the job.

Marketing, Sales, Digital Network, Customer, Ancillaries and Data.
Education
- Bachelor's degree Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics or a related field.
Experience
- + 5 years of progressive experience in revenue or commercial functions within the airline industry, including team management.
- Experience in aviation or similar industries is highly desirable.
- Proven ability in managing data, setting prices, strong analytical skills and pricing control.
- Previous experience in a role requiring analysis and strategic decision-making.
Competencies
- Expert of market analysis, pricing strategies, and revenue optimization.
- Understanding of industry-specific market dynamics.
- Experience in team managements (coaching, leading)
- Knowledge in database management and data visualization (Tableau, Tableau prep, Alteryx)
