Job Purpose
Manage and support the maintenance and update of flight documentation and technical equipment in the aircraft, within the scope of Flight Operations, according to company standards, regulatory requirements, and operational demands, to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely preparation and execution of flights.
- A driving license is required
- 24/7 availability to work on a shift schedule
Main Accountabilities
- Ensure that all necessary documentation, such as manuals and checklists, is current, accurate, and accessible to pilots and cabin crew, complying with regulatory and company standards.
- Install software updates, verify their accuracy, ensure up-to-date performance data, and resolve any issues to maintain operational readiness.
- Identify and promptly resolve technical issues, ensuring all devices are functioning correctly and minimizing the risk of operational disruptions.

- Provide immediate assistance for any technical or documentation problems that arise during pre-flight preparations, ensuring flights can depart on time without delays.
- Ensure all necessary equipment, such as chargers and backup devices, is available, in working order, and well-maintained to support uninterrupted operations.
- Efficiently execute assigned tasks as per the schedule and instructions provided, ensuring all duties are completed within the required timeframes.
- Ensure timely and secure delivery and setup of necessary documentation and equipment on the aircraft, adhering to airport driving regulations and safety protocols.
- Assist with special projects such as conducting inventory checks or helping with maintenance tasks, ensuring all additional responsibilities are fulfilled efficiently and effectively.
- Assist in ensuring that all required security documentation and procedures are in place, verifying that all regulatory requirements are met and maintained, preventing potential fines and operational delays.
- Participate in special projects, such as seasonal operational campaigns, by performing tasks like additional inspections and reporting on specific equipment statuses, supporting overall operational efficiency.
Main Responsibilities - Tasks
- Maintain and update flight documentation on board the aircraft
- Manage and update Electronic Flight Bags (EFBs) and related software.
- Conduct regular checks and troubleshooting of EFBs and other technical equipment.
- Support pilots and cabin crew with technical and documentation issues.
- Manage and maintain the inventory of technical equipment and supplies.
- Coordinate with the Flight Documentation Team Leader on task assignments.
- Drive and operate airport vehicles for document and equipment transportation.
- Participate in additional special tasks and projects as assigned by the team leader.
- Assist with inspections and audits.
- Help with special campaigns and operational needs.
- Oversee the comprehensive management of all physical components within the Reporting Room, including printers and informational screens for the crew, vans and dispatch equipment, coordination of failed calls with OCC or Ground Operations, and storage of materials.

Education
- Minimum of Compulsory Secondary Education
- Familiarity with Electronic Flight Bags (EFBs) and their software, understanding how to install updates, verify accuracy, and troubleshoot issues.
- Basic understanding of flight operations and aviation regulations, particularly those related to flight documentation and technical equipment maintenance.
- Knowledge of airport operations, including vehicle driving regulations and the layout of the airport for efficient navigation and task execution.
- Understanding of the various software applications used in flight operations, such as performance data calculators and cartography applications.
- Awareness of the procedures for maintaining and updating flight documentation and technical equipment on aircraft.
- Familiarity with inventory management practices, ensuring that all necessary
equipment and supplies are available and well-maintained. - Basic knowledge of security regulations and compliance requirements, particularly those affecting flight operations and documentation.
- Proficiency in using electronic devices and understanding software functionalities relevant to flight operations.
Experience
- Previous experience in an airport environment or a similar role is highly preferred
- Experience as a flight dispatcher, ground operations staff, or any role involving logistics and coordination at an airport is advantageous.
