 Job Purpose

Join a high-performing core team dedicated to delivering end-to-end technical support to pilots, enabling the safe and efficient preparation and execution of every flight. Contribute to critical areas such as performance calculations, maintenance and optimization of operational software, and management of the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) environment.

Work in close collaboration with pilots, gaining direct exposure to real flight operations and the dynamic decision-making processes that take place in the cockpit, while supporting the continuous improvement of tools, data, and procedures that enhance operational excellence.

Main Accountabilities

• Ensure the company’s performance calculations and operational practices remain compliant with the latest regulations.

• Ensure manuals are clear, accurate and up-to-date, facilitating compliance with operational standards and regulatory requirements.

• Ensure all safety-critical data is accurately processed and incorporated into performance assessments, supporting overall flight safety.

• Increase operational efficiency and accuracy in data handling, reducing manual workload and potential for errors.

• Support comprehensive risk management strategies, enhancing flight safety and operational efficiency.

Main Responsibilities - Tasks

• Collaborate with the design and development of deviation point procedures for all Standard Instrument Departures (SIDs) across Vueling’s network, including destination and alternate airports, supporting the entry into service of the Boeing 737 MAX 8200 fleet from December 2026.

• Ensure rigorous monitoring and validation of performance technical documentation related to the new fleet, guaranteeing compliance with regulatory standards, operational requirements, and internal quality benchmarks.

• Maintain and continuously improve aircraft performance data feeding key engineering and navigation systems (e.g., LIDO, Salesforce), ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and timely updates across all operational platforms.

• Manage and track training data, reports, and records for Flight Operations technical personnel within SAP SuccessFactors, supporting compliance, traceability, and continuous development of the team.

• Perform in-depth technical analysis to support the definition, business cases, implementation, and evolution of high-impact transformation projects within the Flight Operations technical area, contributing to innovation, efficiency, and digitalization initiatives.

Main Relationships

• Flight Operations Department: For daily coordination and reporting of performance data.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, is mandatory to ensure a strong

  foundational understanding of aircraft performance principles and the aviation industry standards.

Experience 

• No Prior Experience Required, as this position is designed as an entry-level role
  suitable for recent graduates. However, any relevant experience in aviation operations or data analysis is considered beneficial.

• Comprehensive knowledge of how aircraft performance is calculated and the factors that influence it.

Other
